The three main ways to assert Accredited Investor Status are:
- If you make more than 200k/yr for 2 yrs in a row (or 300k combined if you are married) you can provide income validation, such as tax documents or pay slips.
- If you have over $1M in nonprimary home assets, you can submit copies of brokerage accounts, bank accounts, etc.
- You can submit a verification letter signed by a third party (CPA, attorney, investment advisor, broker/dealer).
If you are not able to provide proof you are an Accredited Investor, we will exercise reasonable efforts to return the contribution; provided, however, we do not represent or offer any assurances that we will successfully be able to recover or return any such contribution, and in any event you understand and acknowledge that any return of your contribution will be net of any expenses applied at the time the contribution is made and thereafter until returned (if so returned).
